Abstract

an experiment in the principles of aestheticism.
consequence of influence represents the separation of body and perception alluded to by oscar wilde's novel dorian gray. the viewer becomes the narrator in an interactive space where one's movements distort their image they are delayed, sped up, fragmented, distorted and frozen.

the asynchrony of real-time and image-time distances the viewer from their projected self, disturbing the illusion of symmetry between the physical and lookingglass worlds.
